the ask 

Support the U.S. launch of NatuChips Plantain Chips by driving awareness and trial in key markets. Our goal was to connect with Hispanic consumers while introducing plantain chips as a bold, flavorful alternative to traditional salty snacks for all.

the approach 

We took NatuChips Plantain Chips directly to the people through Mercado NatuChips, an engaging multi-market sampling tour inspired by the vibrant, bold energy of traditional Hispanic markets. Just like these markets, known for their flavorful food and lively colors, our Mercado NatuChips tour featured branded trucks, festival activations, and retail sampling events that brought the flavor of Latin America’s #1 snack to life. We focused on high-impact markets—California, New York, and Florida—where we could connect with both Hispanic consumers and mainstream snackers. With 53 retail sampling events and activations at iconic cultural moments like Cali Ocho, SOBE Food & Wine, Miami Pride, and the Dominican Day Parade, we created authentic, immersive brand experiences that reflected the spirit of a true Mercado. By blending grassroots efforts with large-scale brand visibility, we transformed first-time tasters into lifelong fans.
